FAQ
OmniDoc first rebuilds the document's structure: headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, equations, headers and footers, footnotes and reading order. Then it translates block by block and puts each block back in place. Equations don't get scrambled into gibberish, and tables don't fall apart into paragraphs. Scans go through text recognition first.
In a UniDoc document you can define variables and write expressions, and the numbers, charts and sliders in the text all read the same set of variables. Change one parameter and the whole document updates; once it is published as a web link, readers can drag the sliders too.
Editing, format conversion and PDF layout reconstruction all run offline on your computer. Only cloud services such as translation and publishing a web link need to upload the file in question.
Yes. A single .tex file or a whole project (.zip, .tar, .tgz, or an arXiv .gz source package) both work. The result package contains translated and bilingual source, each with its compiled PDF, plus editable HTML and Markdown.
